9 daysAfter arriving in Ulaanbaatar, begin a guided city tour featuring the main highlights of the Mongolian capital. Breakfast at Tashi Restaurant near Gandan Monastery. After breakfast, visit Gandan Monastery, an important center for learning and practicing the teachings of Buddha, not only in Mongolia but for the entire Mahayana Buddhist community. Visit Sukhbaatar Square, the central square steeped in national history; explore the Chinggis Khaan National Museum to gain insight into Mongolia’s rich cultural heritage; After enjoying a performance by a folk group in the evening, we will have a dinner. Overnight stay in a hotel.
