DAY 1 - ARRIVAL - FESTIVAL
Upon arrival in Ulaanbaatar, you will be greeted by your guide and driver. Drive to Gorkhi Terelj. The festival will take place in Nalaikh on August 21 at 11:00 a.m. Visitors have the opportunity to explore provinces , the capital city, and tour cultural heritage sites from participating countries and organizations. The event lineup includes the “Great Festival of the Mongolia,” grand performances by the best inheritors, a gala showcase, and a magnificent performance of 15 types of national sports competitions for men. More than 700 unique and outstanding performances are scheduled across 30 programs, including exhibitions featuring 167 cultural and creative enterprises, as well as trade displays of traditional foods and beverages from 9 nationalities.This festival serves as an exceptional showcase of nomadic culture, displaying its unique expressions through a diverse array of activities and performances. After that, we drive to Juulchin Terelj Resort. Dinner and overnight stay at Resort.
DAY 2 - TERELJ NATIONAL PARK
After breakfast drive to turtle rock and Chinggis Khaan Statue. The Chinggis Khaan Statue is 40m tall and is recognized as the tallest equestrian statue in the World. It is located north of river Tuul at a spot called ‘Tsonjinboldog’ where, according to the legend, he found a golden whip. Statue symbolically fast east towards to his birthplace. Visitors can reach the top of the horse’s head via the stairs in the chest and neck areas of the statue. It offers a panoramic view of the surrounding area with Terelj National Park lying to the North of the statue complex. Drive back to Ulaanbaatar and transfer the hotel.
DAY 3 - DEPARTURE
Transfer to the airport or train station for international departure.
