Lake Khuvsgul, Mongolia's "Blue Pearl" is located two kilometers above sea level in the northernmost province of Mongolia. It is frozen from January until May. The Lake's unbelievably clear water is still untouched by industry and modern urban life, so much so that one can see every detail of fish that are a dozen or more meters underwater. Khuvgul is the second-largest freshwater lake in Central Asia. It contains two percent of the world's fresh water. It is supplied by some 96 rivers that flow into the lake.

Tour Itinerary
Day 1 - Arrival
Up on your arrival at the Chinggis Khaan International Airport. Please meet your guide and driver, who will be holding a signboard at the airport. They can help you to transfer to your hotel. We offer you to discover the best highlights in the city. Visit Sukhbaatar square, where you will see the Government House, and a big statue of Genghis Khaan. In Sukhbaatar square, you will see the Mongolian stock exchange building, the state ballet, the central post office, the Opera house, the Blue Sky Tower and so on. For more places to explore, you can hike to Zaisan Hill memorial complex, where you can see a panoramic view of the capital city, it is also the perfect spot to take a beautiful picture. It usually takes just over an hour from the Sukhbaatar square. Relax at your hotel and your trip will ahead on the week. Overnight stay in a hotel. (B/L/D)
Day 2 - Ulaanbaatar / Amarbayasgalant (350 km)
In the morning, start your journey to Amarbayasgalant Monastery, or the "Monastery of Tranquil Felicity" – one of the three largest Buddhist monastic centers in Mongolia. The monastery was established in 1727 and completed in 1736 to serve as a final resting place for Zanabazar (1635–1723), the first Jebtsundamba Khutuktu, or spiritual head of Tibetan Buddhism for the Khalkha Mongolians in Mongolia. His remains were transferred to a newly created temple in 1788. Amarbayasgalant was one of the very few monasteries to have partly escaped destruction during the Stalinist purges of 1937. Visit and explore the grounds of the monastery. Dinner and overnight stay in a ger camp. (L/D)
Day 3 - Bulgan province / Uran Togoo (300 km)
After breakfast at the camp, drive to Uran Togoo, an extinct volcano in Bulgan province. You will have a scenic drive with endless green pastures and the deep blue sky. You can hike up to the hill and to go down to the small lake. Explore the beautiful nature and enjoy the view. Overnight stay at the camp. (B/L/D)
Day 4 - Lake Khuvsgul (400 km)
In the morning, drive to the north side of the country named Khuvsgul province. Please keep your cameras handy, plenty of photo opportunities will present themselves often. You will see the most iconic scenery of nature made itself. In the late afternoon, you will arrive at your destination Khuvsgul lake, one of Central Asia's clearest and deepest blue lakes. You can’t find it on the world list because of the less touched, and unpopular which makes it a more unique place. You will be located at east shore of the lake, where the beautiful camp will be provided with a local delicious dinner at the proper time. After a long ride, relax and rest at the ger camp. (B/L/D)
Day 5 - Lake Khuvsgul
A new day starts at Khuvsgul lake, now it is time to discover the place and enjoy the view while relaxing on the shore of the lake. There are many recreational activities such as horse riding and boat riding that you can join. Visit a reindeer herder family. Learn about their unique lifestyle and culture. You will be provided with local delicious meals at the proper time and an overnight stay in a Ger camp. (B/L/D)
Day 6 - Jargal Jiguur Hot Spring (280 km)
After breakfast, drive to Jargal jiguur camp, which offers natural hot springs. The spring comes out from a depth of 150m and its water is not mixed with soil water due to its high temperature. The camp provides hot water via pipes. Relax in the natural hot spring. Enjoy the stargazing in the hot spa in the pool. Overnight stay in a ger camp at Jargal Jiguur. (B/L/D)
Day 7 - Khorgiin Togoo Volcano/ Terkhiin Tsagaan lake (100 km)
Drive to the magnificent volcanic area of Khorgiin Togoo, which is located on the eastern shore of Lake Terkhiin Tsagaan also known as White Lake. On the way, we will pass through Tsetserleg city of Arkhangai province, which is located slightly west of the country’s center, on the northern slopes of the Khangai Mountains. We will stop there, where you can take photos and enjoy the view. Today, you will have plenty of opportunities for hiking, please wear hiking shoes to climb up the volcanic crater. After a long hike, swim in the lake, relax on he beach and enjoy the authentic view. Dinner and overnight stay in the camp. (B/L/D)
Day 8 - Karakorum (320 km)
This morning we will drive to Karkorum, once the capital of the 13th-century Great Mongol Empire as you know the most iconic history of the world. You will feel the vibe of the ancient Mongols. Once we arrived the destination, we will visit Erdene-Zuu Monastery, which was the first and the largest monastery in this part of the world you will experience. Built on the ruins of the ancient capital. Explore the monastery and visit several temples with excellent examples of Buddhist Thangka paintings and statues dating back to the 17th century. Visit the Karakorum museum and discover ancient Mongols. Overnight stay in a ger camp. (B/L/D)
Day 9 - Ulaanbaatar (380 km)
After breakfast, drive back to Ulaanbaatar and check into your hotel. In the evening, enjoy a Mongolian traditional folk concert followed by a dinner at a restaurant. Overnight stay in a hotel. (B/L/D)
Day 10 - Departure
In the morning, transfer to the airport or train station for international departure.
