Nomad’s Culture Legacy

"Culture is the widening of the mind and of the spirit - Jawaharlal Nehru". While exploring Mongolia, you will be aware of local eating habits, superstitions and the ways of respect. Mongolia’s diet, especially in the countryside area, is very dependent on meat and milk. The milk of mares is fermented in leather bags hanging inside gers, to the left door, and it is customary for visitors to a ger to stir the airag to assist fermentation. This drink has existed in Mongolia for thousands of years, and is still very much a part of daily life and celebrations.
