In the earliest known stages it was intricately tied to all other aspects of social life and to the tribal organization of Mongolian society. Tsaatan is one of the minorities in Mongolia who practice Shamanism along the centuries.

Day 1 Arrival in Ulaanbaatar

Arrive in Ulaanbaatar and transfer to selected hotel. After check-in hotel, we will do short city tour including Sukhbaatar Square, Chinggis Khaan Monument, National History Museum and Zaisan Hill for panoramic view of the city. Before dinner, we will enjoy Mongolian traditional folklore concert. Have a welcoming dinner.

Day 2 Ulaanbaatar – Khustai National Park

After breakfast, we will drive to Khustai National Park where we can see wild horses. We will visit deep into the national park and explore wild horses. We can visit natural museum of the national park and watch documentary movie about wild horses.

Overnight in tourist GER camp (B/L/D)

Day 3 Khustai National Park – Ulaanbaatar – Murun town – Khuvsgul Lake

After breakfast, we will drive back to Ulaanbaatar to take flight to Murun town. Upon arrival, directly we will drive to Khuvsgul Lake. Khuvsgul Lake is dubbed as Mongolian Switzerland. It is surrounded with lash green forest mountains. It is the second deepest lake in Central Asia. Also it is a 1% of fresh water resource of the world.

Day 4 Khuvsgul Lake

We will enjoy another day in Khuvsgul Lake. Optional: We can enjoy boating and horse riding around the area.

Day 5 Khuvsgul Lake – Darkhad Valley – Renchinlkhumbe town

We will have long day drive to Renchinlkhumbe town where we can meet one of the minorities which are Darkhad people.

Day 6 Renchinlkhumbe town – Tsagaan Nuur town

After breakfast, we will do morning drive to Tsagaan Nuur town. Today we will meet to TCVC (Tsaatan Community Visitor Center).

Day 7 Tsagaan Nuur town – Khogorgo River

We will drive to Khogorgo River. Meet the local team as horse guides. Today we will ride to Khuren Khonkh mount.

Overnight in tent (B/L/D)

Day 8 Khogorgo River - Taiga

Today we will do full day horse riding to Taiga to meet Tsaatan people.

Day 9 Reindeer herders-Tsaatan people

Today we will meet and stay full day with reindeer herders to experience their lifestyle and traditions.

Day 10 Shaman-Tsaatan people

Today we will meet with Shaman people.

Day 11 Taiga – Sharga Bridge

Today we will do horse riding back to Sharga bridge.

Day 12 Sharga Bridge – Renchinlkhumbe town

After long trip, today we will meet our drivers and drive back to Renchinlkhumbe town.

Day 13 Renchinlkhumbe town – Khuvsgul Lake

Today we will have long day driving back to Khuvsgul Lake.

Day 14 Khuvsgul Lake – Murun town – Ulaanbaatar

After breakfast, we will drive to Murun town to take flight back to Ulaanbaatar and transfer to hotel and check in. In the afternoon, we will do short sightseeing tour including Bogd Khan Winter Palace Museum. In the afternoon free time for shopping and for relax. Have a farewell dinner.
