For the living of local ethnic group in this part of Mongolia, Reindeers are used for riding and the Nomadic tipis are used for living.

You will have an opportunity to enjoy with one of the best routes in Mongolia. Khuvsgul Lake, Mongolia’s “Mongolian Switzerland” is located two kilometers above sea level in the Northern Mongolia. It is frozen from January until May. The Lake’s unbelievably clear water is still untouched by industry and modern urban life; so much that one can see every detail of fish that are a dozen or more meters under water. Khuvsgul Lake is the second largest fresh water lake in Central Asia, contains two percent of the world’s fresh water. It is supplied by some 96 rivers that flow into the lake.

Day 1. Ulaanbaatar. (B/L/D)

Arrive in Ulaanbaatar and transfer to selected hotel. After lunch, take city tour including Sukhbaatar Square, National History Museum and then visit Zaisan Hill War Memorial to get your bearings with a panoramic view of the whole city. Enjoy traditional concert and have a dinner.

Day 2. Fly to Murun/Khuvsgul Lake. 120km (B/L/D)

Transport to the airport. Fly to Murun, the capital of Khuvsgul province, and have lunch in a local restaurant. Transport to the tourist GER camp at the base of Khuvsgul Lake. Have dinner and spend the night at the tourist Ger camp.

Day 3. Khuvsgul Lake/Reindeer people (B/L/D)

Have breakfast at the tourist GER camp. Take a full day to explore the breathtaking lake, to go swimming, to go horseback riding or to go fishing. There is ample opportunity to discover the lifestyle of the local nomads. Go hiking and take pictures along the shorelines of the lake, which is home to many different kinds of birds and other wildlife. Have dinner and spend the night at the tourist GER camp.

Day 4. Fly back to Ulaanbaatar (B/L/D)

Have an early breakfast at the ger camp. Drive back to Murun to catch the flight to Ulaanbaatar. Transport to the hotel from the airport. Have free afternoon for your leisure time and shopping.

Day 5. Ulaanbaatar (B/L/D)

After eating a relaxing breakfast, visit Bogd Khan Palace Museum. After lunch, visit Gobi Factory Store. Have farewell dinner in a nice restaurant, which has a panoramic view of the city of Ulaanbaatar.

Day 6. Departure (B)

After breakfast transfer to the airport or train station for your international departure
