Best of Mongolia 10 days is a slightly shorter version of the Best of Mongolia 15 days tour. During this trip one will see, experience, learn and take photos of the Central and Southern Mongolia. - Day 1. Ulaanbaatar.

- Day 5. Khongor sand dunes. 200 km. (B/L/D)

- Day 8. Karakorum, Erdene-Zuu Monastery. 300km. (B/L/D)

Day 1. Arrival
Upon arrival in Ulaanbaatar, you will be greeted by your guide and driver. Transfer to a hotel. Half and full day tours are available.
Day 2. Middle Gobi / Baga Gazriin Chuluu (220 km)
Early morning, begin your journey to Baga Gazriin Chuluu, a unique formation of rocks. Visit ruins of an ancient temple and explore the area. Lunch, dinner and overnight stay in a Ger camp (L/D).
Day 3. Middle Gobi / Tsagaan Suvarga (280 km)
After breakfast visit the ruins of Sum Khukh Burd Temple. Continue driving to Tsagaan Suvarga, a fascinating white limestone cliff which resembles a Stupa. Lunch, dinner and overnight stay in a Ger camp (B/L/D).
Day 4. South Gobi / Yol Valley (280km)
Drive further south. Arrive at the Three Beauties mountain range of the Gobi National Park. Spend the day on an excursion to Yol Valley, hiking and enjoying stunning photographic opportunities. Lunch, dinner and overnight stay in a Ger camp (B/L/D).
Day 5. South Gobi / Khongor Sand Dunes (200 km)
After breakfast drive to Khongor Sand Dunes known as the Singing Dunes. A climb up to the sand dunes will be rewarded with breathtaking views. In the evening observe a spectacular sunset, please prepare your cameras. Lunch, dinner and overnight stay in a Ger camp (B/L/D).
Day 6. South Gobi / Bayanzag (150 km)
Drive to the world-famous Flaming Cliffs (Bayanzag), rich in saxaul trees of Gobi. Explore the site of the first paleontological discoveries in Mongolia by following the footsteps of Roy Chapman Andrews, (January 26, 1884 – March 11, 1960), an American explorer, adventurer and naturalist. Visit a nomadic camel breeding family and experience the hospitality of Mongolian nomads. Enjoy a short camel ride. Lunch, dinner, and overnight stay in a Ger camp (B/L/D).
Day 7. Middle Gobi / Ongi Monastery (150 km)
After breakfast drive north, visit the ruins of the once great Ongi Monastery, local restored temple and have a walk in the surrounding area. Dinner and overnight stay in a Ger camp (B/L/D).
Day 8. Karakorum, Erdene-Zuu Monastery (300 km)
After breakfast drive to Karakorum, once the capital of the 13th century Great Mongol Empire. Visit Erdene-Zuu Monastery, which was the first and the largest monastery in Mongolia built on the ruins of the ancient capital. Tour the monastery and visit several temples with excellent examples of Buddhist Thangka paintings and statues dating back to the 17th century. Visit the Karakorum museum. Dinner and overnight stay in a Ger camp (B/L/D).
Day 9. Ulaanbaatar (380 km)
After breakfast drive back to Ulaanbaatar and lunch on the way. Overnight stay in a hotel (B/L).
Day 10. Departure
Transfer to the airport or the train station for international departure.
