In 13th century, Nomadic tribes in Mongol homeland were united by a single man who is known as Chinggis khaan, and controlled the largest contiguous land empire in the World. The tour in this kingdom complex will make you travel back in time to ancient 13th century lifestyle of the Mongols. On the way to the complex, you will see the highest horse statue of Chinggis khan and local village of the province.

In the 13th century, Mongolia was united by a single man who is known as Chinggis Khan, and controlled the vast area of Asia and Europe under one roof. Chinggis Khan also brought new rule of law, cultural society, and new business trade ways to the people of Mongolia and connected trade routes to Europe from Asia. Even today, the people of Mongolia understand and feel that important connections with him, that we ruled the world. It is found to be in our blood and mind that his contribution to our society lives on.

Day 1. 13th century National park. 110km (L/D)

We’ll pick you up from your hotel and drive to 13th century National Park which located 110km away from Terelj national Park. Little more than 1 hour drive we see 40m tall Chinggis Khaan’s monument. After short stop we’ll continue driving to east. About 1 hour drive we’ll reach back to 13th century…. Mongol kingdom. At the stone gate our GEREGE (permition for entrance) will be checked by fully armored warriors of Mongol Empire. Here you will travel back to 13th century and have lunch with Mongol Kings as merchant Marco Polo did once in many century ago. Walk around many different camps included shaman’s camp and handicraft camp. After all this drive back to Terelj National park.

Day 2. Terelj national Park. (B/L/D)

Terelj National park, a fascinating area about 80km to the east of Ulaanbaatar. High Mesozoic granite cliffs, sculpted into unique formations by wind, frost and rain erosion, loom over fertile valleys. Here we’ll see all differently shaped and formed rocks which truly gift from the Mother Nature for us. Visit Turtle like rock and local horse breeding nomadic family. Here you’ll be able to try little horse riding and enjoy look of the surrounding wilderness.

Day 3. Khustai National Park. 200km (B/L/D)

Early depart to Hustai National Park through Ulaanbaatar city. Arrive in Hustai national park by lunch time. After lunch drive deep into National park to see world only wild horse ”TAKHI”.

Day 4. Elsen Tasarkhai. 200km (B/L/D)

Early morning drive Hogno Khan mountain and visit Ovgon temple and have our packed lunch on the Elsen Tasarkhai sand dunes. Visit local camel breeding family for short camel riding.

Day 5. Ulaanbaatar. 110 km (B)

After relaxing breakfast drive back to Ulaanbaatar city and transfer to your hotel.
